of <h1>Indian Customs EDI System Halts Bills of Entry for Union Budget 2016-17; Shipping Bills Unaffected.</h1> The submission of Bills of Entry in the Indian Customs EDI System (ICES) and Section 48 approvals will be halted due to the presentation of the Union Budget for 2016-17 on February 29, 2015. The suspension will start at 17:00 hrs on February 2016, with the system remaining operational for other functions. Updates on the resumption of regular filing will be provided on relevant websites. Shipping Bills filing and processing will continue without interruption, and any changes in export duties announced during the budget will be manually recorded and processed until system updates are completed.
