of <h1>Exporters No Longer Need NOC for Back to Town Containers; Must Notify Central Excise/Customs Instead.</h1> The procedure for Back to Town (BTT) of factory stuffed containers has been modified to address delays faced by exporters. Previously, exporters needed a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Central Excise/Customs Authorities. This requirement has been removed; instead, exporters must inform the jurisdictional Central Excise/Customs Commissionerates and provide an acknowledged copy of this communication to the Assistant/Deputy Commissioner of Customs. Any issues should be reported to the Additional Commissioner of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House.
