of <h1>Manual Debit of Advance Authorization Discontinued at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House to Boost Trade Efficiency.</h1> The Customs Office at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House has announced that the manual debit of Advance Authorization will be discontinued to facilitate trade and improve efficiency. Previously, both electronic and manual debits were required, causing delays, especially with large Bills of Entry. Going forward, only electronic debits in the EDI system will be necessary, eliminating the need for manual processing by the Group Appraiser. Any issues arising from this change should be reported to the Additional Commissioner.
