of <h1>Mumbai Customs Urges Exporters to Submit BRCs for 2013-2014 Shipments or Face Recovery Under Customs Act Section 75(1).</h1> The Principal Commissioner of Customs in Mumbai has issued a notice reminding exporters to submit Bank Realization Certificates (BRCs) or negative statements for drawback EDI shipping bills with LEO dates from April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2014. Failure to submit these documents within one month will result in recovery proceedings under Section 75(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, and related rules. Exporters must provide these documents to the Deputy Commissioner of Customs at the Inland Container Depot in Mulund, Mumbai, to avoid penalties.
