It informs importers, exporters, and customs brokers about the empanelment of two agencies, M/s. TUV Rheinland India Pvt. Ltd. and M/s. Valueguru Chartered Engineers and Valuers Pvt. Ltd., for conducting inspections and appraisements of second-hand machinery at the Bangalore port. If importers cannot obtain an overseas inspection report for their goods, they may use the services of these agencies, as notified by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the Handbook of Procedures 2015-2020.
