of <h1>New Procedure for Changing Office Address in IEC Jurisdiction Under Para 2.14(A) of Handbook of Procedure.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has introduced Para 2.14(A) in the Handbook of Procedure (2015-20), detailing the process for modifying or changing the address of a Branch Office, Head Office, or Registered Office in the Importer Exporter Code (IEC) when it involves a shift in jurisdictional Regional Authority (RA). The IEC holder must request the change with the new RA and submit a copy to the old RA. The old RA will transfer the IEC file to the new RA, which will amend the records and allow the applicant to operate and apply for benefits at the new address.
