For import transshipments, carriers must request permission and execute bonds if required. SEZ Customs will supervise loading and ensure compliance with customs regulations. Export procedures involve verification of containers and seals, with shipment details endorsed on shipping bills. Any irregularities, such as prohibited goods or tampered seals, must be reported to Customs authorities for action. Existing procedures for road and rail transshipments remain unchanged. Compliance with CBEC instructions is mandatory, and any difficulties should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs.
