Export is permitted up to 10,000 tonnes annually, only through Customs EDI Ports, and must be certified by APEDA-accredited bodies. Exporters must register contracts with APEDA in New Delhi and submit necessary certifications and a processing fee. A Registration-Cum-Allocation Certificate (RCAC) will be issued, valid for 45 days. Amendments to RCAC details regarding buyer and FOB price are not allowed. Exporters must provide shipment details and submit original RCACs with shipping documents post-dispatch.
