Exporters Can File Supplementary DEPB Applications by September 30 for Shipping Bills from April 1, 2002, Onwards.
The circular outlines the procedure for filing supplementary DEPBs as per Public Notices 62 and 63. Exporters who have not yet applied for DEPB credit for shipping bills dated on or after April 1, 2002, can apply using new rates. Exporters who have already applied but not received DEPB must file a revised application with a differential fee. Those who have obtained DEPB can apply for a single supplementary DEPB for additional claims due to rate differences. Applications must be filed by September 30, 2003, and only the original DEPB license holder is eligible to file. The supplementary DEPB is valid for 12 months.
