Exim Bank Opens $100M Credit Line with Mali for Power Project; 75% of Goods Must Be Indian Origin.
Exim Bank has established a USD 100 million Line of Credit (LOC) with the Government of Mali for a power transmission project linking Bamako and Sikasso. Under this agreement, at least 75% of the contract value must involve Indian goods and services, with the remainder procured internationally. The LOC became effective on April 17, 2015, with a disbursement deadline of January 10, 2018, for supply contracts. Exporters must declare shipments on EDF/SDF Forms. No agency commission is payable, but exporters may use their resources for commission payments. Authorised banks should inform exporters and provide LOC details from Exim Bank.
