of <h1>Exports via EDI ports: SDF filing dispensed as Shipping Bill subsumes Regulation 6 particulars; authorised dealers to notify constituents</h1> Regulation 6's requirement that exporters declare exports of goods or software in the specified SDF is modified: for exports effected through EDI ports the SDF filing requirement is dispensed with because the statutory particulars previously required in the SDF are subsumed into the Shipping Bill; the operative effect is that exporters performing exports via EDI ports need not submit a separate SDF and authorised dealers must notify their constituents of this procedural simplification.
