of <h1>DGFT Suspends Handbook Provisions for PSIC; Follows 2009-14 Guidelines Under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 Authority.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has announced that the provisions of paragraphs 2.55 and 2.56 of the Handbook of Procedures, 2015-20 are temporarily suspended to facilitate transitional arrangements. Until further notice, the procedure for issuing Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificates (PSIC) will follow the guidelines outlined in paragraphs 2.32.2A and 2.32.2B of the Handbook of Procedure Vol. I, 2009-14. This decision is made under the authority granted by paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020.
