It clarifies that anti-dumping duties, as per Notification No. 14/2010, apply specifically to cold-rolled flat products of stainless steel with a width of 600 mm or more, not further worked than cold rolled. Despite being classifiable under the same tariff heading (CTH 7219), stainless steel circles do not attract anti-dumping duties if they are below the specified width. Field formations are advised to follow this clarification for resolving pending disputes.
