of <h1>DGFT Updates Authorized Agencies for Certificates of Origin: EIC, MPEDA, Textiles Committee Under Trade Agreements.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has revised Appendix 4D of the Handbook of Procedure for 2009-2014, detailing authorized agencies for issuing Certificates of Origin (Preferential) under various trade agreements. The Export Inspection Council (EIC) is authorized for all goods across all agreements, while the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) is authorized for marine products. Additionally, the Textiles Committee is authorized for textiles and made-ups under the India-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. This update includes all bilateral and regional trade agreements with their respective issuing agencies.
