of <h1>DGFT Updates Export Scheme Codes, Aligns ITC HS Codes for VKGUY and FPS Products, Effective Immediately.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has revised Appendices 37 A and 37 D of the Handbook of Procedure - Volume I, effective immediately. The revisions harmonize product descriptions and ITC HS codes for items listed under the Vishesh Krishi and Gram Udyog Yojana (VKGUY) and the Focus Product Scheme (FPS). Various products, including agricultural, forest-based, handicraft, and industrial items, are eligible for specific duty credit scrips based on their export. The changes aim to align ITC HS codes without altering entitlement. Additional duty credit is available for exports through certain northeastern Indian states.
