of <h1>High Court of Andhra Pradesh Upholds 'Actual User Condition' for Maize Imports Under TRQ Scheme Until Further Notice.</h1> The circular addresses the applicability of the 'Actual User Condition' for maize (corn) imports under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) scheme. A public notice from May 18, 2011, had removed this condition, but it was challenged in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. The court issued an interim order on April 4, 2012, maintaining the 'Actual User' condition for maize imports until the writ petition is resolved. Importers must comply with this condition until further notice. The circular is issued with the approval of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
