of <h1>Deadline Extended for December Quarter Advance Tax Payment to 17th December 2013 u/s 119(2)(a) of Income-tax Act.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the deadline for the December quarter instalment of advance tax for the financial year 2013-14. Originally due on 15th December 2013, the new deadline is now 17th December 2013. This extension applies to all assessees, including both corporate and non-corporate entities, under the authority granted by section 119(2)(a) of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
