RBI Updates Export Rules: Forms DPX1, PEX-1, TCS-1, DPX-3 No Longer Required for Authorized Dealer Banks.
The circular addresses Authorized Dealer Banks regarding project exports and revises instructions on the submission of specific forms related to project and service exports. It eliminates the requirement for exporters to submit forms DPX1, PEX-1, TCS-1, and DPX-3 to the Reserve Bank of India's Foreign Exchange Department, provided their head office jurisdiction is involved. However, submissions to the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation and Exim Bank remain necessary when their financial interests are involved. Previous instructions from earlier circulars remain unchanged. These directions are issued under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.
