of <h1>DGFT Announces Personal Hearings for Trade Grievances Under Amended Para 2.49.2 of Foreign Trade Policy.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has announced provisions for granting Personal Hearings (PH) under the amended Para 2.49.2 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), effective from April 22, 2013. Exporters and importers aggrieved by decisions, excluding adjudication orders, and unsatisfied even after a review, can request a PH. These hearings will occur on the second Tuesday of each month at Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi. Applicants must submit a detailed representation including their details, reasons for requesting intervention, and the decision they are contesting. The representation should also specify a preferred date for the hearing.
