of <h1>Budget Day Restrictions Removed for Fiscal Year 2003-04; Business Operations Allowed Without Special Permissions Per Notification 6/2003-CE (NT.</h1> The circular announces the removal of Budget Day restrictions for the fiscal year 2003-04, as detailed in Notification 6/2003-CE (NT) dated February 11, 2003. Previously, these restrictions prevented the removal of goods on Budget Day to avoid duty evasion, as duties were traditionally paid on a consignment basis. With the current system allowing duty payments on a fortnightly or monthly basis, the restrictions are deemed unnecessary and disruptive to economic activities. Effective immediately, assessees can conduct business on Budget Day without special permissions, while anti-evasion measures remain in place. Trade and field formations are informed of this change.
