of <h1>Mumbai's DGFT Office Extends E-Filing to Non-Status Holders for Same-Day Licensing from Sept 1, 2001.</h1> The Office of Zonal JT.D.G.F.T. in Mumbai has introduced electronic filing for license applications, initially available to status holders, and now extended to non-status and Green Card holders. Applicants must declare their intention, provide necessary details, and will receive a password for secure access. Applications are submitted electronically via the DGFT website, followed by a hard copy submission. Licenses are issued the same day if procedures are followed correctly. From September 1, 2001, same-day licensing will only apply to electronically filed applications. Queries and feedback are encouraged through the Export Facilitation Center or via email.
