<h1>Green Cards for Exporters Now Available to Senior Executives Like MDs and GMs; Certificate Required for Application.</h1> Trade Notice No. 09/2001, dated August 13, 2001, addresses the issuance of Green Cards to exporters. Previously, a maximum of five Green Cards were issued to proprietors, directors, or partners. The notice announces that Green Cards can now also be issued to senior executives, such as Company Secretaries, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, or General Managers. To obtain a Green Card for a senior executive, a firm must submit a certificate on its letterhead, signed by a partner, director, or proprietor, confirming the executive's employment and designation. This certificate must accompany the application and required documents.
