Exporters Must Submit DEEC Book Issues and Correspondence to Expedite Customs Resolutions Per Policy Circular No.16.
Attention is drawn to Policy Circular No.16 regarding the non-production of logged DEEC books. The issue often arises from exporters failing to provide necessary documents or responding to Customs' queries promptly. Customs typically logs DEEC books within two weeks and advises that proof is required from license holders claiming delays. Exporters facing logging issues should submit detailed problems and correspondence with Customs to expedite resolution. Requests for abeyance of Refusal Memos must include relevant data and be submitted to the Export Facilitation Cell. Abeyance is granted case-by-case by the Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade.
