It introduces the ARE-1 format, replacing the AR-4 format for export applications, and specifies new formats for bonds and CT-1 for obtaining goods without duty. Concerns were raised about export delays due to these changes. The Board clarified that exports should not be held up due to new procedures, allowing the previous procedures to be followed until July 31, 2001, to ensure smooth clearance of consignments. Trade and field formations are to be informed accordingly.
