of <h1>Amendments to DEPB Rates: Engine Bearings and Machined Parts Entries Updated in Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has announced amendments to the DEPB rates for the engineering product group under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. The description for export item at Sr. No. 497 has been updated to include specific types of engine bearing bushings and thrust washers. Additionally, changes have been made to the entries at Sr. No. 530, effective from October 6, 2004. The entry is deleted and replaced with two new entries, 530A and 530B, detailing DEPB rates and value caps for machined parts made predominantly of alloy and stainless steel. These changes are issued in the public interest.
