New SION for Table Eggs: Import Restrictions and Value Limits Set by Director General of Foreign Trade.
Public Notice No. 24/2004-09, dated November 16, 2004, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, amends the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) for table eggs. Under this amendment, for every 1000 table eggs exported, specific quantities of import items are allowed, including Di-Calcium Phosphate, pigments, antibiotics, vitamin supplements, and packing materials. Restrictions are placed on the composition of medicines and vitamins in the imports, and the CIF value of imported inputs must not exceed 10% of the total FOB value. This SION is for actual users only, and no Duty-Free Replenishment Certificate (DFRC) will be issued.
