of <h1>Amendment to Appendix 16-A: Note Before Deleted for Third-Party Imports in Public Interest, Public Notice No. 74.</h1> Public Notice No. 74, dated August 6, 2004, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, amends the revised Appendix 16-A as notified under Public Notice No. 39 dated January 28, 2004. Under the authority of the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007 and the Handbook of Procedures, the amendment involves the deletion of the Note Before (NB) under the section 'Import Certificate to be accompanied with end-use cum end-user certificate' when the import is conducted by a third party. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
