of <h1>India-Nepal Trade Treaty Update: STC Sole Importer for Vegetable Fats; Amends Public Notice No. 68, 2004.</h1> The circular amends the procedure for importing certain items under the India-Nepal Treaty of Trade signed on March 2, 2003. The amendment specifically corrects Point No. 2 of Public Notice No. 68 dated June 23, 2004, stating that the State Trading Corporation (STC) will be the sole agency responsible for importing vegetable fats (Vanaspati) up to an indicated quantity on an annual quota basis. Other conditions from Public Notice No. 9/2002-07 dated April 30, 2002, remain unchanged. This amendment is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
