of <h1>Exports to SEZs Eligible for DEPB Scheme Under Amended Handbook of Procedures, Paragraph 4.40.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) under the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07. The amendment modifies the provision related to Special Economic Zones (SEZs) as previously stated in Public Notice No. 11 dated 30.5.03 in paragraph 4.40. It now specifies that exports made to SEZs, as notified by the Department of Commerce, are eligible for the Duty Entitlement Pass Book (DEPB) scheme. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
