of <h1>DEPB Rates Amended: New Value Caps for Engineering and Chemical Products; Updates for Plastics and Textiles. Effective Immediately.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the DEPB rates schedule under the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07. Changes include setting a value cap of Rs.125/kg for certain engineering products and Rs.350/kg for others. In the chemical sector, entries from Sl.No.494-A to 495-C are removed, and new entries for automobile tyres and Cefuroxime Axetil tablets are added with specified rates and value caps. Amendments also affect plastic products, with changes to descriptions and new entries, and textiles, with updates to product descriptions. These changes are effective immediately and apply to exports from the notification date.
