of <h1>India-Nepal Trade Treaty Update: Sole Import Rights for Vegetable Fats Assigned to State Trading Corporation.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the procedures for importing certain items under the India-Nepal Treaty of Trade, effective from 23 October 2003. The amendment involves the deletion of Paragraph 2 from Public Notice No. 9/2002-07 dated 30 April 2002. Additionally, the State Trading Corporation is designated as the sole agency authorized to import vegetable fats (Vanaspati) within the specified annual quota. Other conditions outlined in the earlier notice remain unchanged. These changes are issued in the public interest.
