of <h1>Import Conditions for Raw Garlic Updated: New Recovery Rates for Different Moisture Levels Under Duty Exemption Scheme.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has modified the conditions for the import of raw garlic under the Duty Exemption Scheme, effective immediately. This change addresses difficulties in meeting the Allicin content requirement due to testing limitations and natural deterioration. The accountability of imported garlic in export products is now specified as follows: dehydrated/dry garlic with 7.2%-8.8% moisture has a recovery rate of 33.5%, with 5.9%-7.1% moisture a recovery rate of 32.5%, and garlic flakes and powder with 5.2%-6.3% moisture a recovery rate of 30%. The prior import conditions remain unchanged.
