of <h1>DEPB Rate Amendments: New Descriptions and Rates for Engineering and Textile Products Effective April 1, 2003.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has announced amendments to the DEPB rates schedule under the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07. Changes include updates to the descriptions and rates for specific engineering and textile products. For engineering products, modifications include descriptions for ferrous automotive products, collar of MS sheet, and steel hinges bar type, among others. A new entry for nickel screen is added. In textiles, the description for woollen blended shawls, scarves, and mufflers is updated. These amendments are effective from April 1, 2003, and are issued in the public interest.
