of <h1>New Deadline for Tariff Rate Quota Applications Set for August 29; PEC Ltd. Eligible for Oil Quotas.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the procedure for the allocation of the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for 2003-04. The deadline for submitting completed application forms with necessary documents for certain items is now August 29, 2003. Additionally, the Project and Equipment Corporation of India Ltd., a government enterprise, is now eligible to avail quotas for specific oils as listed in the public notice. All other conditions and modalities from the previous notice remain unchanged. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
