of <h1>India Revises Rupee Value for Deferred Payment Contracts with Former USSR; New Rate Effective March 11, 2003.</h1> The public notice from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade announces a revision in the Indian Rupee value for the special currency basket related to deferred payment contracts between the Government of India and the former USSR. These contracts pertain to machinery and equipment deliveries under protocols dated April 30, 1981, and December 23, 1985, covering periods from 1981 to 1990. The revised Rupee value, effective from March 11, 2003, is set at 57.5227. This adjustment applies to all deferred payment agreements under the specified protocols.
