Deadline Extended for Gold, Silver, Platinum Replenishment Applications Under Exim Policy 1997-2002 to December 31, 2002.
Public Notice No. 45/2002-2007, dated October 30, 2002, addresses transitional arrangements for obtaining replenishment of gold, silver, and platinum from nominated agencies for exports made on or before March 31, 2002, under the Exim Policy 1997-2002. The previous policy allowed such replenishment, but the new policy for 2002-2007 discontinued these provisions. Due to confusion among exporters regarding application timing, the Director General of Foreign Trade has extended the deadline to December 31, 2002, allowing exporters more time to apply for replenishment. This extension aims to accommodate exporters who were unable to apply within the original timeframe.
