of <h1>Deemed Export Benefits Revoked for Talcher Power Project Stage II Due to Lack of World Bank Funding.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended a previous public notice regarding deemed export benefits for the Talcher Super Thermal Power Project Stage II. Due to the absence of World Bank funding, the entity involved must return the cash equivalent of benefits previously availed by suppliers. These benefits include those under the Advance Intermediate Licence, Special Imprest Licence, deemed export drawback, and refund of terminal excise duty as per the Export and Import Policies from 1997-2002 and 2002-2007. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
