of <h1>DGFT Extends DEPB Application Deadline, Updates Platinum Fineness and Certification Agencies in Export-Import Handbook.</h1> The circular issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade amends the Handbook of Procedures under the Export and Import Policy 2002-07. It extends the deadline for filing applications under Public Notice No. 14 to December 31, 2002, and further to June 30, 2003, for DEPBs related to exports before April 1, 2002. It specifies the fineness for platinum supplied by nominated agencies and corrects references in the Handbook. Amendments are also made to the list of inspection and certification agencies in Appendix 28, updating contact information for two agencies. This notice is issued in the public interest.
