of <h1>DGFT Amends Export-Import Policy: Exempts Wool Products from RCMC, Extends Export Obligation, Updates Appendix 3 & Documentation Rules.</h1> The public notice issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade amends the Handbook of Procedures under the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07. It exempts certain wool products from requiring a Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC). It also extends the export obligation period under the Advance Licence scheme beyond 30 months with a composition fee, except for Value-Based Advance Licences or cases involving fraud. Appendix 3, related to the Importer-Exporter Code application, is modified. Additionally, changes are made to the documentation requirements for Duty Entitlement Pass Book and Duty-Free Replenishment Certificate applications, allowing for direct negotiation of documents.
