of <h1>Export Policy Update: Fish Hides and Skins Require Contract Registration with Leather Council or MPEDA.</h1> The export policy for fish hides and skins has been amended under the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002. Specifically, the entries against Code Nos. 4101, 4102, and 4103 in the ITC(HS) Classification have been updated. Exporters of fish hides and skins must now register their export contracts, detailing price and quantity, with the Council for Leather Exports or the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA). This amendment is issued in the public interest and aims to streamline and regulate the export process for these items.
