of <h1>Handbook of Procedures 1997-2002 Amended: Changes to DEPB Rates, Export Obligations, and Certification Agencies Post-Gujarat Earthquake.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures for 1997-2002, including DEPB rates, due to the earthquake in Gujarat on 26.01.2001. The year 2000-2001 is declared a blank year for export obligation monitoring for EOU/EPZ/SEZ units in affected areas. Public Notice No. 54 applies only to licenses valid on the earthquake date, with a one-year amnesty from 26.01.2001 to 25.01.2002. Changes include the deletion of Para 15.3, additions to export product groups, amendments to DEPB rate lists, and updates to certification agency addresses and authorized agencies for Certificates of Origin.
