of <h1>Wheat Exports Capped at 50 Lakh Metric Tons for 2001-2002 Under Export & Import Policy 1997-2002.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has set a quantity ceiling of 50 lakh metric tons for wheat exports for the financial year 2001-2002 under the Export & Import Policy 1997-2002. The Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is designated to issue Registration-Cum-Allocation Certificates (RCACs) for this purpose. This decision is made in the public interest and aligns with the relevant export and import classifications and amendments.
