This allocation is made under the Trade Agreement between India and the Maldives for the year 2001. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is tasked with issuing the necessary Registration-cum-Allocation Certificate to the designated export corporation in New Delhi. This decision, made under the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, aims to facilitate trade and is issued in the public interest.
