of <h1>Revised Handbook of Procedures for 1997-2002 Export and Import Policy Effective April 1, 2001 Under Paragraph 4.11.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has issued Public Notice No. 1 (RE-2001) for the 1997-2002 Export and Import Policy, notifying the revised edition of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 1) as of March 2001. This handbook, authorized under paragraph 4.11 of the policy and published in the Gazette of India, will be effective from April 1, 2001. The notice is issued in the public interest, with the annexure containing the detailed procedures not included in this summary.
