of <h1>DEPB Rates Amended: Cotton Denim, Yarn, and Fabric Rates Increased; New Entries and Value Caps Introduced in Export Policy.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the DEPB rates under the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002. Key changes include increasing the DEPB rate for 100% Cotton Indigo Blue Dyed Denim Cloth from 7% to 11%, and adding new entries for 100% cotton yarn dyed fabric and made-ups with rates of 9% and 11%, respectively. A new entry for Cotton Yarn with a 2% rate is also introduced. Additionally, a value cap is set for Hessian bags with LDPE/HDPE liners at 10% or Rs.25 per piece. The rate for Cast Iron Vice in the Engineering group is adjusted to 15%.
