of <h1>Anti-dumping duties on CFLs from China and Hong Kong do not cover parts or components, only complete units.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, clarifies that the anti-dumping duty imposed on Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) from China and Hong Kong, as per notification No. 138/2002-Cus dated 10.12.2002, does not extend to parts or components of CFLs. This clarification follows representations from the Morbi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Gujarat, and confirms that the duty applies only to complete, ready-to-use CFLs, whether the choke is integrated or external. Customs officials are instructed to finalize pending assessments in accordance with this clarification.
