Manufacturer exporters registered with Central Excise who have paid excise duty of Rs. 1.00 crore or more in the previous financial year are exempt from executing bank guarantees under Advance Authorisation and EPCG Schemes. The clarification states that excise duty paid through Cenvat credit is included when calculating the total duty paid. Any issues in implementing this circular should be reported to the Commissioner.
