S.O. 409(E) and S.O. 410(E), dated 10-5-2001, expand the tax base under the One-by-six scheme to include all urban areas defined by the 1991 Census of India. This encompasses towns and urban agglomerations nationwide, including Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the absence of a 1991 census in Jammu and Kashmir, the notification clarifies that towns listed based on the 1981 population data are covered. The applicable towns include Anantnag, Srinagar, Jammu, Baramula, and others. The floor areas for these locations align with those specified in Notification No. S.O. 409(E).
