DGFT Updates Deemed Export Benefits Criteria: New Timeline for Claims Starting December 15, 2004, Per Public Notice No. 32.
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the criteria for claiming deemed export benefits, applicable to supplies made on or after December 15, 2004, as per Public Notice No. 32. For supplies made from this date, the six-month period for claiming benefits will begin from the end of the month, quarter, or half-year when the last payment is received or supplies are made, based on the supplier's choice. Additionally, the option to claim benefits after the deadline with a late cut, as outlined in the Handbook, remains available. This decision is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
