Export Obligation for Penicillin Imports Set to 3 Months; No Extensions Allowed per Policy Circular No. 1 & Notice No. 6.
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has clarified the export obligation period for the import of Penicillin and its salts under the advance licence scheme. The export obligation period is restricted to three months from the date of clearance of the first consignment. No extensions will be granted for these licences. This decision aligns with the conditions in Policy Circular No. 1 and Public Notice No. 6, both dated 17.09.04. The licensing authority will endorse this restriction on the advance licences. This clarification has been approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
